Oceanside to Mission Bay, CA

Hi! It’s me again. I’ve been conspicuously absent from posting but I hope to improve on that.

While we were in Oceanside, one of our fellow Baja Ha Ha cruisers suggested we make a stop at Mission Bay before going to San Diego. Besides being the home of the world famous Sea World,  it’s a very beautiful place. The anchorage was quiet, (and free), in spite of being a very busy place.

Our apologies to our friends and fellow Everett WA cruisers Scott and Monica on S/V Scott Free–we made another change in plans. When we were in Dana Point we called them and found out they were in Two Harbors at Catalina. They said, “We were looking forward to seeing you guys because your blog said you would be here!” Like Vicki said in an earlier post, flexibility is a key to cruising happiness. We will see them in San Diego though.
